About the Exhibition
Art in Dongsan’s Jageun Art Museum presents 《On My Way》, an invitational solo exhibition by TTODOA.
In TTODOA’s works, a solitary figure walking along a path and a red umbrella appear repeatedly. Within expansive, open spaces, the lone figure passes through forests, walks through cities, and pauses by the water, continuing along their own path. Rather than presenting a specific narrative, the artist uses restrained forms, colors, and empty space to explore the relationships and emotions we encounter in life, and the human experience of finding one’s own direction within them.
The red umbrella, the most distinctive visual symbol in TTODOA’s work, represents not only dreams and passion but also one’s existence and attitude toward life. Against a largely monochromatic world, the vivid red evokes dreams that are not easily abandoned and a personal sense of direction that remains even as circumstances change. The artist describes it as “a color that says I am here, without needing to prove it.”
《On My Way》 is, in this sense, an exhibition about “going my own way.” It is not clear where the figures in the works have come from or where they will arrive. What matters is not the destination, but the fact that they are still on their way.
To remain even when shaken,
to keep walking even when alone.
Centering on TTODOA’s Red Umbrella and My Way works, this exhibition tells the story of the path we all travel—moving forward in our own way without losing ourselves amid change.

About the Artist

또도아 | TTODOA | 又又都雅
TTODOA studied Painting at the Graduate School of Kookmin University and Painting at the College of Art & Design, Konkuk University. Since 2017, the artist has held solo exhibitions internationally in Shanghai, New York, Seoul, Tokyo, and other cities. Major exhibitions include a special solo exhibition at Toyosu Civic Center Gallery and a solo exhibition at Ginza G2 Gallery in Tokyo in 2022, invitational solo exhibitions at GG2 Gallery in Seoul and Hwan Gallery in Daegu in 2025, and a solo exhibition at Ginza G2 Gallery in Tokyo in 2026.
The artist has explored the relationships formed among humans, animals, the natural environment, and within life itself. Using largely monochromatic compositions, a limited color palette, restrained lines and planes, and expansive empty space, TTODOA has developed the red umbrella in particular as a defining visual symbol of the artist’s practice.
Rather than focusing on detailed representation, the works emphasize the symbolic qualities of their subjects and the emotional resonance they leave behind, continually exploring the image of a human being who stands alone yet continues to move forward in their own direction.
