About the Exhibition

예술은 언어와 문화를 초월한 보편적인 소통의 매개체이며 평화는 인류 모두가 함께 추구해야 할 공동의 이상입니다.

〈Interactive for Peace〉 전시는 한국을 포함한 전 세계 84명의 작가들이 참여하여, 다양한 매체와 시선을 통해 ‘평화’의 의미를 탐구하고 성찰하는 장입니다.

24개국에서 모인 작가들의 작품은 서로 다른 장르와 스타일을 지니고 있으면서도, 하나의 공통된 메시지로 울림을 전합니다. 스타필드 고양점 작은미술관(Jageun Art Museum)에서 열리는 이번 전시는, 각국 작가들의 예술적 감각이 시공간을 넘어 연결되며, 다양한 삶의 배경 속에서 피어난 ‘평화’라는 주제를 하나의 서사로 엮어냅니다.

〈Interactive for Peace〉는 단순한 전시를 넘어, 예술을 통해 세계가 함께 공존할 수 있는 방식을 제안하는 플랫폼입니다."우리가 함께 꿈꾸는 평화는 어떤 모습일까요?"

Peace is a shared ideal that humanity must pursue together.

Interactive for Peace brings together 84 artists from Korea and around the world to explore and reflect on the meaning of peace through diverse media, perspectives, and artistic expressions.

With artists hailing from 24 countries, this exhibition resonates with a unified message that emerges from distinct genres and styles. Hosted at the Jageun Art Museum, Starfield Goyang, the participating artists’ creative voices transcend space and time, weaving a shared narrative of peace born from diverse life experiences.

More than an exhibition for viewing, Interactive for Peace serves as a platform that proposes ways the world might coexist through art. What does peace look like when we dream it together?
