Eunha Gallery is pleased to present Drifting Thoughts II, the 24th invitational solo exhibition of artist EunHa Jung.
This exhibition explores the meanings of time, existence, and connection through paintings of cities, bridges, old towns, and rivers. Rather than simply depicting places, the artist transforms the light, time, and memories encountered within these landscapes into visual reflections on canvas.
Bridges appear throughout the exhibition not merely as architectural structures, but as symbolic passages connecting the past and the present, people and places, memory and the future. Cityscapes, rivers, old streets, and landscapes illuminated by the glow of dawn and sunset carry traces of time and emotion, inviting viewers to encounter their own memories and experiences within each scene.
Light is another essential language running throughout the exhibition. Morning light, sunset, warm sunlight, and the glow of the city become symbols of hope, presence, and the continuity of life. Flowing gently across each composition, light and color transcend time and space, transforming ordinary moments into meaningful memories.
More than an exhibition of landscapes, Drifting Thoughts II invites visitors to pause amid the rhythm of everyday life and reflect upon their own journey through time, memory, and the relationships that connect us. It is our hope that each work offers a quiet moment for contemplation, comfort, and renewed awareness of the beauty found within everyday life.
은하갤러리는 정은하 작가의 제24회 초대개인전 「사유의 유영 Ⅱ」를 개최합니다.
이번 전시는 도시와 다리, 오래된 마을과 강을 배경으로 시간과 존재, 그리고 연결의 의미를 탐구하는 작품들을 선보입니다. 작가는 서로 다른 도시와 풍경을 단순히 재현하는 것이 아니라, 그곳에서 마주한 빛과 시간, 그리고 삶의 기억을 화면 위에 담아냅니다.
