About the Exhibition

〈동산에서〉는 서로 다른 시선으로 일상의 감각을 바라보는 세 작가의 작업을 통해 우리가

살아가는 가까운 세계의 풍경을 다시 마주하는 전시이다.

우리의 삶은 거대한 사건보다는 익숙한 공간과 반복되는 시간 속에서 조용히 쌓여 간다.

이번 전시에 참여한 작가들은 각자의 방식으로 이러한 일상의 감각과 기억을 화면 위에 담아낸다. 단순하고 절제된 형태, 물성과 색채가 만들어내는 화면 속에는 시간이 지나며 축적된 정서와 삶의 온기가 스며 있다.

작가들의 시선은 특별한 장소를 향하기보다 우리가 머무는 자리 가까이에서 출발한다.

그곳에서 발견되는 작은 움직임과 조용한 시간의 흐름은 화면 속에서 또 하나의 풍경으로 확장된다.

art in dongsan brings together three artists who reflect on the quiet sensibilities of everyday life through their distinct visual languages, inviting viewers to reconsider the familiar scenery that surrounds us.

Life is often shaped not by dramatic events but by the accumulation of ordinary moments within familiar spaces. The participating artists capture these subtle impressions and memories through their own approaches to form, material, and color. Within their works, we encounter layers of emotion, time, and the warmth of lived experience.

Rather than seeking distant or extraordinary subjects, the artists begin from the spaces closest to where we live. Small movements and quiet passages of time gradually unfold into visual scenery on the canvas.

art in dongsan invites viewers to rediscover the sensibilities and memories embedded in the everyday scenes that often pass unnoticed.
