Exhibition Introduction

In November 2026, Gallery Eunha presents The 3rd KOREA · JAPAN CHINGU Exchange Exhibition, bringing together artists from Korea and Japan through art and cultural exchange.

Now in its third edition, the exhibition continues an ongoing cultural and artistic exchange between Korean and Japanese artists, providing a space to share their works and artistic practices. Representing Korea are ceramic artist JUNGMOOK JUNG and painters SORI CHOI and KIM ILHWA. From Japan, the exhibition features painter KOMATSU RIKAKO (小松利佳子) and ceramic artists TAKANAKA ICHIRO (高仲一郎) and INOSE KAZUAKI (猪瀬和明).

Working across painting and ceramics, the six artists present their distinctive visual languages and artistic perspectives within a shared space. Ceramic works shaped through clay and fire come together with paintings expressed through color and composition, offering visitors an opportunity to encounter the different aesthetics and modes of expression of Korean and Japanese artists.

Beyond presenting individual works, this exchange exhibition is rooted in the relationships and friendships that have developed through art. Transcending differences in nationality and language, the exhibition reflects the significance of meeting, communicating, and sustaining connections through the shared language of art.

We hope The KOREA · JAPAN CHINGU Exchange Exhibition will continue to foster meaningful artistic exchange between artists from both countries, while offering visitors an opportunity to experience Korean and Japanese painting and ceramics together and to engage more closely with the art and culture of both countries.
