_Jae Hong Kim(김재홍) 프로필사진.JPG

South Korean, b.1958 ~

I borrowed the relationship between humans and livestock to describe the unethical and devastating master-servant society we live in within the framework of mega-capitalism.

Beyond killing for survival (shared, selective killing), humans institutionalise the killing of these vulnerable creatures in order to eat more, store more, and finally profit. This is where the true horror of barbarism and violence begins. It is the violent instinct and institutionalisation of capital, where the purpose of all killing is not survival, but the greed of lording it over others with the power of surplus capital, i.e. capitalist neoliberalism, which will be transformed into another greed.
